Lyme Regis is a 20-minute journey from the hotel and is packed with things to do. Pack your bucket and spade for sandy beach adventures, or bring your four-legged friend for a walk along the pebbly Monmouth beach. 

On calm days, stroll along the Cobb to view the fishing boat in the harbour, and if you're feeling brave (and the winds not too strong), take the higher path along the top of the Cobb wall. Look out for the famous 'Granny's Teeth' steps!

Lyme also offers two museums, one which specialises in dinosaurs and the other fossils. 

For families, practice your putting skills with a spot of mini golf or opt for a classic ice cream along the front - just watch out for seagulls! 

Exeter is a 30-minute car journey from Home Farm Hotel, and is home to a gorgeous cathedral, the grounds of which act as a base for seasonal markets. Shop handmade gifts at independent boutiques or browse big brands.

There are plenty of car parks, however with car parking on the pricey side, we'd recommend using a park and ride for easy access to the city centre without breaking the bank. The closest park and ride to Home Farm is the Honiton Park and Ride, just follow the A30 towards Exeter. 

With unique bars, eateries and a bustling high street, we think Exeter is well worth a visit. 

Seaton is again only 20 minutes away from the hotel and is host to a broad range of things to do! Home to a Tramway, Nature Reserve, multiple beaches and even a cliff-top walking route. 

Seaton is the ideal location for a great day out, no matter if you're looking for a calming dip in the sea or for some adventure. Of course, Seaton wouldn't be a seaside town without plenty of places to grab fish and chips. Sit on the esplanade and soak in the sea air, all topped off with the tantalising taste of freshly cooked chips. 

From Seaton, carry on around the bay and you'll reach the lovely seaside town of Beer.
