Payment:
Payment is made on arrival when checking in to the hotel. We take the following forms of payment; Cash, (some) Debit Cards, Credit Cards (including Visa, Mastercard, Amex). In some circumstances (such as a corporate booking) we will take a credit card payment over the phone before the guest(s) arrive.
Check-in and Check-out:
Check In is from 15:00 (3pm) until 22:00 (10pm) If you require either an early check-in or a late check in this may be possible, but must be notified in advance as there is not always someone at reception outside of those hours. If you have specified a rough check-in time but are likely to be either substantially later or earlier please let us know by telephoning.
Check out is 10:00 am during the week and 10:30am Saturday and Sunday. It may be possible to have a later check out – please ask at reception if this is required.
In the case of an early departure (before 8am) please leave your key either in your room or just drop it at reception.
Any lost keys will be charged at £30 as keys and fobs are very expensive and inconvenient to replace.
Guest Responsibilities:
We are a mainly non-smoking site; Smoking and Vaping are strictly forbidden within the buildings. However we do allow smoking and vaping in our outdoor spaces (including the beer garden at discretion), although please be mindful of other guests, and do not litter but place any butts in ashtrays provided.
We kindly ask that mobile phone or tablet videos; tik-tok, Instagram etc are not viewed or shared in any public spaces as this can annoy other guests.
We ask guests to respect other guests by entering and leaving the building quietly during “out of hours” times such as after 11pm or before 7am.
Room Allocation:
We have six room types, Single, Twin, Double, Superior Double, Family of 3, Family of 4
When booking you’ll choose your room type and be allocated any one of that type. If we have availability, it may be possible to give a room upgrade.
We have two pet friendly rooms – these have their own entrances and are cleaned more rigorously after any pets. Pets are allowed at discretion, and this usually only includes small dogs (e.g. Cocker Spaniel Size)
Liability and Disclaimer:
Car Park
Our car park is free for use. The users of the car park do so at their own risk. The management will not accept liability for any accidents damage or loss incurred.
Lost items
If any personal items are left in a room they will be kept at reception. These can be collected at any time (within 3 months). Guests sometimes request items to be posted. This can be very inconvenient and time consuming for the hotel staff and so we make a charge of £20 + the cost of postage to post any items (within the UK – international shipping may not be possible). Guests - please do not leave items in your room but do a final “sweep” before leaving.
Insurance
We do have full insurance for public liability (certificates are displayed in reception) however we respectfully request that guests take full responsibility for their own safety at all times.
We do not always have a trained first-aider on site.
